Our vehicles are available for hire on call-off basis or on contractual term basis. Through our business partners, we are able to perform a variety of end-to-end logistics-related service activities like air, sea, road transportation and other value-added services that make up a total logistics services package. We maintain and repair our vehicle and equipment fleet in-house through our dedicated team of heavy vehicle diesel engine mechanics. | 2 | Material Handling Accessories | We are a stockist of a wide range of lifting appliances and lifting gears that are frequently used by our customers, primarily coming from the construction and oil and gas industry, to perform activities concerned with the lifting or lowering loads. Our inventory includes wire rope slings, chains, hooks, eyebolts, shackles, etc. and we stock well-known products and brands including Crosby. Our rigging shop is equipped with a large mechanical swaging system that is capable of swaging wire ropes with diameters ranging from ¼” to 2”. With this swaging system, we crimp wire ropes using the ferrule secured eye termination method. Our wire rope assembly incorporates aluminium ferrules as a standard offering. Our aluminium ferrules are conical ferrules that are tapered at the back to reduce the risk of load snagging and it has an inspection hole to ensure the short end of the wire rope is correctly positioned after swaging. Overall its design is elegant and functional. We are also able to source for specialized orders of lifting appliances and lifting gears. |
| 3 | 3rd Party, Non-destructive testing (NDT), Inspection and Certification | We understand that safety is paramount in our industry because lifting appliances are used in a wide range of situations, all of which may pose a significant risk to the operator and persons nearby. A lifting appliance generally has no ‘redundancy’– so a single failure is enough to cause a major accident. When a lifting appliance fails, the consequences can be far-reaching. Serious injury and death can occur, not just to personnel but to the general public. When equipment fails, the cost of disrupted operations can also be considerable. To address this matter, we provide and administer 3rd party NDT inspections as a valued-added service to the sales of our material handling accessories. Since we have the technical know-how in this field, we provide consultative advice to our clients with respect to the assessments that are required to meet the national regulatory safety standards for lifting appliances. Under this service, we will identify and manage all of the necessary tests that are required to ensure the safety and reliability of the lifting appliances. All tests shall be conducted and examined by our team of competent personnel. After each successful test, we will advise our clients on the next scheduled examination date for the renewal of the inspections validity. Our facilities are well-equipped to administer 3rd party, non-destructive testing and inspections for all kinds of lifting equipment. Our facilities have the capacity to perform proof-load testing of up to 100 metric tons via our test bench and perform hydrostatic pressure testing of up to 30,000 psi. |
